Barrier: Not Enough Time To Plan

Solution: Common planning for each grade level. Consider block scheduling.

Barrier: Lack of Materials

Solution: Create a Book Room or Leveled Library (Access to all)

Barrier: Money

Solution: Move resources from self-contained classrooms to general education classrooms or pool funds together.

Barrier: Attitudes

Solution: Create an Inclusive Practices Support Team to encourage inclusion throughout the school.

Barrier: Curriculum

Solution: Advance the practice of Universal Design for Learning to provide multiple modes of access and representation.
